Given the natural conditions of the site of Mphanda Nkuwa, there are three possibilities for the dam and three
possibilities for the headrace and power station. All these
possibilities have been reviewed in the study.

in the pricture below, which shows part of the river stretch where the
Mphanda Nkuwa reservoir will be situated. The page
